UNC Greensboro School of Nursing students will host a health fair on the lawn in front of the Walter Clinton Jackson Library from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 26. All UNCG students, faculty, and staff members are invited to attend.
“I always knew I wanted to help people, and by becoming a pediatric nurse, I can help my patients understand the medical care they are receiving and teach them the importance of helping others,” Cuevas states, when detailing his drive to enter the field of nursing.
This marks the first time that the School of Nursing has received the Health Professions HEED Award and the fifth consecutive year that UNCG has earned the HEED Award. INSIGHT Into Diversity is the oldest and largest diversity-focused publication in higher education.
