The Research Office provides the services for the School of Nursing:
PRE-AWARD:
- Grant application and budget development, including internal processing through Cayuse
- Manuscript editing
- Expert consultants
- Statistical consultation
- Scientific review of grant proposals (internal and external)
- Research design and methods consultation
- Faculty and research program development
- Consultation regarding institutional review board procedures including human subjects training, data safety monitoring and conflict of interest training
POST-AWARD
- Post-award grant and budget management
- Assistance with financial and narrative grant reports
- Training for graduate and undergraduate research assistants
OTHER:
- Coordinates activities of the Center for the Health of Vulnerable Populations
- Liaison between faculty and Vice Chancellor for Research and Economic Development, the Office of Sponsored Programs, Office of Research Integrity, Office of Contracts and Grants
