The UNCG School of Nursing was awarded a $699,700 grant from the Department of Health and Human Services (DHHS) Health Resources and Services Administration (HRSA). The grant will prepare students in UNCG’s graduate nurse practitioner program to help rural residents gain access to specialized medical care.

Clinical Experience

Clinical experiences that give new meaning to the word “practice.”

State-of-the art simulation centers and community-engaged practical experiences at more than 500 clinics and service programs around the world allow you to connect the classroom to the patient.

Each year, UNCG School of Nursing senior class students participate in UNCG Homecoming activities giving flu vaccines. This year, we gave out flu shots on October 13th, 2018 to a long line of homecoming attendees.
