Notice of Opportunity to Submit Third-Party Comments to CCNE

The University of North Carolina at Greensboro School of Nursing is seeking accreditation for its Post-Graduate Certificate Psychiatric-Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP) Program through the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education. As part of the accreditation process, a CCNE evaluation team will conduct an on-site review on September 14–16, 2026.

CCNE provides the opportunity for interested parties—including students, alumni, faculty, staff, employers, clinical partners, and members of the public—to submit written comments concerning the program’s qualifications for accreditation.

Third-party comments must relate to the CCNE Standards for Accreditation of Baccalaureate and Graduate Nursing Programs and should address substantive matters related to the quality of the program. Comments must be received by CCNE no later than 21 days before the scheduled evaluation visit.
