Association of Nursing Students
The UNCG Chapter of Association of Nursing Students (ANS) serves to provide a safe space for nursing-interest students to collaborate, learn, and support each other in order to promote the next generation of Spartan Nurses. Through ANS, members are able to have dynamic discussions regarding the healthcare system, foster community and university engagement, and aid in their own development of the whole person, their professional role, and their responsibility for the health care of people in all walks of life.
Chi Eta Phi
Sigma Chi Alpha Beta serves as the university’s chapter of the Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. is a professional organization for registered professional nurses and student nurses (male and female) representing many cultures and diverse ethnic backgrounds. Chi Eta Phi Sorority, Inc. is an internationally recognized leader in developing healthy communities through advocacy, collaboration, education, leadership, research, and service.
Multicultural Nursing Student Association
The purpose of the Multicultural Nursing Student Association (MNSA) is to facilitate the personal and professional development of nursing students. It serves as a support network, promoting unity and communication among students at all levels within the nursing program. MNSA fosters academic, personal, and professional growth, while enhancing understanding and awareness of the needs and concerns of all nursing students within the School of Nursing and the University. The organization also promotes recognition of the achievements of nursing students and professionals, facilitates the integration of nursing students into the university community, develops leadership potential, and provides community service to enhance the health and well-being of the community.
Nurses Christian Fellowship
The purpose of Nurses Christian Fellowship is for nursing students and faculty to be encouraged to grow in faith in the context of nursing school, equipped to integrate faith with nursing through Bible study and spiritual care resources, and empowered to share faith with other nursing students and faculty.
Undergraduate Research Society for Emerging Allied Health Professionals
The Undergraduate Research Society for Emerging Allied Health Professionals is a student-led organization dedicated to introducing undergraduates to research opportunities in nursing and allied health sciences. The purpose is to grow the knowledge and interest of undergraduate students in research methodology and integration. Through regular meetings featuring faculty guest speakers, students can learn about ongoing research, discover opportunities to get involved, and explore the impact of evidence-based practice.
