Simulations

As our older adult population continues to grow in numbers, advanced practice nurses are challenged to deliver age specific care. The following educational videos provide patient case scenarios involving health issues commonly observed in the older adult population. The learning content may be applied to primary and long-term care clinical settings. The videos listed below are YouTube videos with closed captioning for increased user accessibility. Each video will play directly from the present screen or may be opened in a separate window for viewer use. These videos were developed under the leadership of Laurie Kennedy-Malone who is a professor and Karen Amirehsani a former assistant professor in the School of Nursing at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. Susie Boles from UNCG Online with setting up the h5p.org videos; members of the UNCG Online team Patrick Griffin, Nichole McGill, Nathan Myers, and Leerie Jenkins aided in updating videos and testing.
