The NIB boasts five expansive floors and a total of 180,000 square feet dedicated to fostering learning and innovation. Among its impressive features are 39 cutting-edge labs, meticulously designed to provide hands-on experiential learning opportunities.

Additionally, the building houses 14 spacious classrooms equipped with the latest technology to support dynamic and engaging teaching environments, 4 state-of-the-art research suites and 6 wet lab research offices, providing dedicated spaces for scholars to pursue groundbreaking discoveries in the field of nursing, and a community engagement center, facilitating collaborative initiatives between the university and the local community.

The Union Square Campus (USC) is a collaborative educational initiative providing accessible higher education opportunities in downtown Greensboro. As a symbol of partnership and innovation, USC offers a variety of programs, resources, and support services, serving as a hub for community engagement, workforce development, and economic revitalization efforts in downtown Greensboro. Partner institutions include Cone Health, Guilford Technical Community College, and NC A&T State University.
