DNP student with faculty

The UNC Greensboro School of Nursing made huge leaps in the U.S. News & World Report’s 2021 rankings of the Best Graduate Schools, which was released Tuesday.

UNCG moved up 23 spots from last year’s ranking to No. 47 in the publication’s new list of the Best Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) Programs.

In addition, UNCG’s Doctor of Nursing Practice (DNP) program jumped 22 spots from a year ago to No. 48 in the latest ranking.

UNCG stands as one of only three North Carolina universities with both an MSN program and a DNP program ranked in the top 50, joining Duke University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

“We’re excited to be recognized nationally. These rankings reflect our strong commitment to our students. Our MSN and DNP students benefit greatly from working with our incredible faculty and exceptional learning experiences. They graduate from UNCG fully prepared to transform nursing and address the health of our community.” – Dr. Robin Remsburg, dean of the UNCG School of Nursing.
