COMMUNITY OUTREACH

The purposes of the Community Outreach and Information Dissemination Component are to increase participation by minority and other disparity community members in research and management of their own health, enhance understanding of the health disparities by consumers, providers, payers and legislators, and to inform the consumers and the community of the TRIAD Project for Health Disparities. A major outcome of this component is to build partnerships with disparities communities that will encourage participation in health promotion and risk avoidance research, training and outreach.
