Peggy Trent as MSN program director

The UNC Greensboro School of Nursing continues to boast one of the nation’s top online programs for a master of science in nursing (MSN) degree.

UNCG is ranked No. 14 by the U.S. News & World Report in its 2021 ranking of Best Online Master’s in Nursing Programs, which was released Tuesday. UNCG’s nursing education concentration is ranked No. 8 nationally.

It marked the fourth consecutive year that the U.S. News & World Report ranked UNCG as one of the top 15 MSN online programs in the country.

Duke University, at No. 3, is the only other North Carolina school to make the top 15 in the latest ranking.

Dr. Peggy Trent, a clinical assistant professor in the UNCG School of Nursing, serves as the MSN program director.
