Susan Denman, PhD, FNP-BC, DNP Program Director is a Clinical Professor in the Family and Community Nursing Department. She has practiced as a family nurse practitioner for over 30 years, largely working with vulnerable populations. Dr Denman has taught ARRNs for over 20 years in live and online courses. She has mentored faculty and students in health care projects in Latin America; and in 2011 spent 4 months as a Fulbright scholar in Ecuador. Her research background centers on vulnerable, newly immigrated Latinos; as does her ongoing community service at El Centro Hispano and Project Access.
